In 1980 she made history by being the first Weimaraner in SA to win the coveted 'BEST EXHIBIT IN SHOW' back in the days when show entries usually exceeded 1000 entries and a Weimaraner winning major awards was a rare occurrence. "Heidi" was a wonderful family dog and on one occasion alerted me that 14 month old Claire was convulsing in the bedroom. She was the dam of 3 litters from which came 4 champions (including Ch Waldwiese Bianka - Best Of Breed Melbourne Royal winner) and several obedience titled off-spring. Thank You Heidi - without you there would be no Waldwiese.

He was a great mate and lived a long and happy life with his 'girls'. He gave me many happy memories - especially his escapades in the obedience ring. He loved baby puppies and it was in memory of him that we named 'Grayce' who was born 5 days before 'Grey' left us after suffering a stroke just days short of his 14th birthday.

GINJA Dual Champion Waldwiese Ginja Jones CD CDX UD TD TDX ET S: Ch Lindridge Wakefield D: Ch Waldwiese Classic 05/03/88 - 27/01/01 A truly great ambassador for the breed 'Ginja' was an outstanding example of the breed, winning many In Group & In Show awards. She was the first, and to date the only, Dual Champion Weimaraner bitch in South Australia. Litter sister Waldwiese Gypsey Rose ( P & T Jellesma) also achieved her obedience championship. 'Ginja' was my 'once in a life time' dog. Not only did she win consistently in the show ring (over 1000 CC points) but she achieved the highest awards in obedience and tracking. 'Ginja' was Claire's teacher in the show ring and her faultless temperament earned her many friends. A truly GREAT dog. GYPSEY AUSTRALIAN OBEDIENCE CHAMPION Waldwiese Gypsey Rose CD CDX UD TD TDX 'Gypsey' Gypsey was a full litter sister to Ginja and was owned and trained by Tracey Jellesma. Both Ginja and Gypsey obtained their AOC titles within weeks of each other. A pair of truly remarkable sisters.

Undisputed ruler of the 'gang', Rumour has had an outstanding show career and has been a wonderful producer for us. Dam of 5 champions , including 2 Grand Champions/ Dual (T) Champions. At nearly 7 years of age at the Weimaraner National in 2001, German Breed Warden, Herr H Geisemann, had this to say about her : "Substantial bitch with strong neck, feminine head, eyes, muzzle, bite, ears all correct. Strong forechest, deep chest, level topline, correct set on tail. Well muscled forequarters, well angulated forequarters, forelegs and feet also correct. Well angulated and muscled hindquarters, hocks and feet also correct. Soft coat, gray in colour, harmonious on the move. Graded EXCELLENT' Awarded Runner Up Best Of Breed. The first GRAND CH Weimaraner bitch in SA, Multi Royal CC winner, Specialty and All breeds winner. In 2003 at 8 years of age we went Tracking and Rumour, in true Weimaraner form, has taken to it with a passion. In July she passed her Track 2, thus giving her a TD (Tracking Dog) Title. In October 2003 Rumour won BEST VETERAN IN SHOW at the NSW Weimaraner Club Championship Show under UK breed specialist, Mrs S Anderton who said of Rumour...'Lovely veteran bitch not looking her age. Carrying a little too much weight but could not hide her quality. Covering the ground with drive and obviously passes her qualities to her progeny' 13 yrs 2005

FLYNNE Sire: Ch Divani Play Th'Game (AI) Dam: Grand Ch Divani Rumour Has It TD Whelped: 31/01/97 Hip Score: 4:2 =6 Our darling 'Flynnigan'.... nothing small about this girl! Her heart was as big as she was and she had the most sweetest and loving nature. Whilst she gained most of her title with ease at large metro shows, showing was not something she really wanted to do. Instead, 'Flynne' decided that she would rather perfect the art of Sofa Sitting. Something that she has did with outstanding success! 'Flynne has produced two lovely litters for us. Dam of 'Scout' and 'B' & 'Indi', all have inherited her wonderful nature, soundness and movement. We miss you still, 'Flynney'. Flynne sadly passed away in July 2006

Miss Personality of the team, Scout is owned and loved by Anna Prizzi . Scout's exuberance for life and super over-the-top outgoing, loving temperament have won her many hearts. Placed in her class at the 2nd National and graded 'EXCELLENT'. Now retired from the show ring 'Scout' enjoys her life as devoted companion to Anna (when she is in the country!) and care-takers Bob or Gloria Rivett. Scout produced a lovely litter to 'Vader' (Grand Ch Waldwiese Ndoubt About It TD) on 27/07/03. Dam of Ch Waldwiese Quintessential (Riggs) See him on our 'boys page'
AUSTRALIAN CHAMPION Waldwiese Nicely Does It BAILLIE Sire: Am/Grand Ch Colsidex Grauhund Just Jeans(Imp USA) Dam: Aust Grand Ch Divani Rumour Has It TD Whelped: 27/07/01 'Miss Baillie' who was also lovingly referred to as 'Bill', was co-owned and with Liz Harding, Silvahunter Kennels in Victoria. 'Baillie' was a full sister to 'Vader' and the repeat of 'Grayce'. Liz waited for a long time for a bitch from 'Rumour' and Baillie was worth waiting for. 'Baillie' had only limited showing but easily titled, along the way winning 'BEST OF BREED' at 2002 Adelaide Royal from the Junior class and again in 2004. 'Baillie' was an Open Show Best In Show winner and a Best In Group (Group 1) and In Show winner. 'Baillie' had outstanding movement, with the conformation to match. Baillie started Tracking at the end of 2003 and passed her Prelim on her first attempt. Sadly we had to say goodbye Baillie in 2006 after she lost her battle with an infection caused by a grass seed. A truly great bitch, taken before her time. Baillie loss has left a big hole in the Harding household. RIP Bill
